Without a vision – a defining focus – nations, families, and businesses flounder in a sea of uncertainty. The same is true of a law school. For an educational institution to marshal dynamic leadership, secure the passions of scholars, and entice students to a challenging intellectual adventure, there must be more than courses, credit hours, and rows of books on shelves.

We believe worship, both personal and corporate, is an important aspect of our life here at HILS, and we encourage you to join with us as we begin and end the week acknowledging our Lord. The weekly schedule includes a law school morning chapel on Tuesdays and Fridays, which is led by HILS faculty, as well as by guest pastors and teachers. We invite all students to share in this community gathering of worship and meditation,

"Lawyers Without Borders"

The law program is a full three-year program including six traditional semesters and three summer sessions. The satisfactory completion of 83 hours is required for the Juris Doctor degree, earned normally over a three full-year program.
