History of HILS
Founded in 1995, Handong Global University has vigorously committed to the academic excellence and the integration of Christian faith into each discipline combine to create its objective of equipping servant leaders for the global challenges of the next millennium. The Law School seeks to be an integral part of the larger University – sharing and contributing to its disciplines.
Handong Global University’s partnerships with universities across Asia and the U.S. are evidence of its global commitment. The University is a partner of UN projects— an Associate Member of the Coalition of Christian Colleges and Universities, and a Member of Global Engineering Exchange, an exchange and research program involving students from 46 universities in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. Special sister university relationships have been established with twenty-one universities in eleven countries, including the U.S., China, Argentina, Indonesia, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Thailand, Russia, and Spain.
