II. ELECTIVE CURRICULUM
JD Curriculum
Elective courses are offered in all the major core curriculum areas: Perspectives, U.S. Law, International Law, and Skills. In addition, special attention is given to electives in the areas of business and commercial law, Korean and Asian law, human rights, law and development, intellectual property and technology, and legal philosophy and jurisprudence. Some of these courses are small group seminars, and are taught by visiting adjunct faculty during summer sessions, and as modular courses during the spring and fall. The Law School administration seeks to secure faculty for any appropriate course where sufficient students request the course. Elective courses are subject to the availability of instructors and registration requirements are set forth in the Student Handbook.
