- 1. Document Screening: Applications are comprehensively evaluated based on academic transcripts (GPA), essays, letters of recommendation, as well as extracurricular activities including community service, awards, and other involvements.
- 2. English Proficiency Examination: Applicants who pass the first stage will take an English proficiency exam on the day of the interview.
- 3. Interview: The interview will be conducted in a one-on-one format, with three interviewers assessing one candidate at a time.

- 1. All submitted documents must be written in English. Since these documents serve as key materials for the admissions evaluation, they should be as detailed and specific as possible. If a document is not in English, a notarized English translation must be submitted along with the original.
- 2. The application form must be completed via Jinhak Apply and submitted as a printed copy.
- 3. The essay must also be completed via Jinhak Apply and submitted as a printed copy. Each essay must not exceed 500 words.
- 4. At least one of the two recommendation letters must be written by a professor or a work supervisor. Letters written by family members or relatives will not be accepted.
- 5. Recommendation letters may be submitted by email (lawschool@handong.edu) only if they are sent directly by the recommender.
- 6. Official transcripts, diplomas, or certificate of pending graduation must bear the issuing institution’s official seal and signature. Copies will not be accepted.
- 7. Applying for both General Admission and Special Admission is not permitted.
- 8. Submitted documents will not be returned.
- 9. If any submitted information is found to be false or misleading, the offer of admission may be revoked.
- 10. The successful candidates must pay the tuition fee within the designated registration period. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of admission.
- 11. All announcements, including interview schedule and admission results will be announced via email. Applicants are responsible for checking their email regularly.
- 12. All certificates must have been issued within six months of the submission date to be considered valid.

3. Application Fee KRW 100,000
1) Refund Policy and Amounts
- In case of overpayment: the excess amount will be refunded.
- If the applicant is unable to take the admission exam due to the university’s fault: full refund.
- If unable to take the admission exam due to natural disasters: full refund.
- If the applicant is hospitalized doe to illness/accident or in the event of the applicant’s death (with appropriate proof): full refund.
2) Refund Method
- Refund will be transferred to the applicant’s designated bank account.
- Any costs required for using the financial network will be deducted. If the cost exceeds the refund amount, no refund will be issued.
4. Interview Venue and Admission Results Announcement
1) Interview venue: Details will be announced later via the university website and email.
2) Admission Results Announcement: Successful applicants will be individually notified by phone and email.
3) Waitlist Candidate(s): Applicants who are not initially admitted may be placed on a waitlist based on their admission scores. Waitlist order will be determined by overall evaluation scores.
