ALUMNI
Graduates of Handong International Law School (HILS) work in leading law firms; Kim & Chang, Yulchon, Lee & Ko, Logos, and many other law firms, where they are involved with various international in-bound and out-bound legal practices.
Many HILS alumni also play key roles in the legal departments of global corporations based in Korea; Samsung, LG, SK, Hyundai, etc.
Other alumni are working with the United Nations, UNHCR, Advocates for Public Interest Law (refugee rights), CLF(Christian Lawyers’ Fellowship), Advocates Korea (religious freedom) and various national and international NGOs.
Other alumni are working for national governmental entities; The Ministry of National Defense, The Korean Commercial Arbitration Board (KCAB), and the Korean National Assembly.
HILS graduates are having a major global impact by bringing positive changes in more than 10 different countries worldwide.
HILS graduates have distinguished themselves in international human rights organizations, governmental offices, law firms and legal departments.
A number of alumni have been accepted at LL.M. programs in the United States such as at American University, Boston University, Duke University, Georgetown University, George Washington University, John Marshall Law School, Northwestern University, University of Connecticut, Pepperdine University School of Law and Regent University School of Law.
